SAN DIEGO, California — Will Roberts, the 15-year-old Alabama teenager whose courageous battle against stage 4 osteosarcoma touched hearts across the United States, has d13d after an 18-month fight with the aggressive form of bone cancer.

His family confirmed that he pᴀssed away shortly after 12:45 a.m. at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, where he had been receiving specialized treatment.

Will first gained national attention earlier this year after posting an emotional video on his mother Brittney Roberts’ Facebook page asking for help to access the experimental treatment DeltaRex-G.
