Christa Pike Requested an All-Female Execution Team — Her Lawyer Reveals What Happened Before the Botched Attempt

Christa Pike appeared to have an all-female execution staff — a request that was meant to be her dying wish, her attorneys revealed on Thursday.

“What I saw was consistent with that,” Randy Spivey said in response to a question about whether the execution team was composed of just women.

The 50-year-old convicted torture killer had requested only women attend to her in the death chamber because she was previously Sєxually abused — and she said that beieng put to death by a man would be too traumatizing.

“That was her biggest fear as the victim of Sєxual abuse, that she would be pinned down, prodded, poked, cut,” another of her lawyers, Stephen Ferrell, said.
