“That anyone would want to abuse her memory or take advantage of a family and community in grief is despicable and the anтιтhesis of everything Dolly stood for,” the source says.
Seaver allegedly threatened to “destroy” Parton’s brand partnerships by launching a dedicated podcast, and described himself as a “killer” and “literally an international arms dealer and mercenary.”
He later told ABC News that the “killer” comment was misconstrued.
“Dolly called me her killer. It was a joke we used around her camp,” he said. “I was her ‘baby boy ninja’ and Danny Nozell took that text out of context to somehow imagine that I was threatening him. He’s always called me The Killer.”

Court filings also claim that Parton’s trusts and estates lawyer quit after Seaver “leveled harᴀssing and ominous threats” against her, and that other employees have resigned in fear as well.
An injunction hearing is set for Oct. 7.
In Facebook posts shared on Sept. 23 and 24 respectively, Seaver’s aunts Freida Parton and Stella Parton defended their nephew, with Freida writing there is “no feud within our family.”
“No one among the Parton/Owens family is fighting over Dolly’s estate,” she wrote. “We all love Bryan, just as we all love each other.”
Stella, meanwhile, said their family is “still intact and moving forward.”
“Regardless of what you may have seen on different news outlets, we are all doing what you would be doing under the same circumstances,” she wrote.
