💔 Friends Remember 19-Year-Old U.S. Army Soldier Isabella Gonzales as a Bright Spirit Who Loved to Dance and Serve

CARROLLTON, Texas. Family, friends, classmates, and fellow soldiers are honoring the memory of U.S. Army Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, whose l1f3 was cut short while serving her country during an enemy att4ck at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan.

Those who knew her say she was full of energy, loved to dance, and never hesitated to encourage others to chase their dreams.

According to the U.S. Army and the Pentagon, Isabella Gonzales, a native of Carrollton, Texas, was ᴀssigned to the 1st Battalion, 57th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 52nd Air Defense Artillery Brigade, under the 10th Army Air and Missile Defense Command based in Ansbach, Germany.

She was serving in support of Operation Inherent Resolve when the installation came under attack on July 17, resulting in the l0ss of several American service members.

Friends from Hebron High School recalled that just one year earlier, Isabella Gonzales had departed for Army boot camp determined to prove her courage and discipline. Misael Galdamez said it is still difficult to believe she is gone, remembering the joy they shared after graduating together.

Zuleyka Acosta described her as outgoing, spontaneous, and someone who always wanted others to see the best in her.

They said she had been eagerly planning a trip back to North Texas this September to reunite with family and lifelong friends.

Military officials also confirmed that 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, was k1ll3d during the same attack.

Days later, Sgt. Angel S. Rampersad, 28, of Ozone Park, New York, who had initially been listed as missing, was also confirmed among those who p4ss3d 4w4y as a result of the incident. The investigation into the attack remains ongoing.

As tributes continue across Texas, classmates, teachers, veterans, and members of the community say Isabella Gonzales will be remembered not only for her commitment to military service but also for the kindness, optimism, and determination that defined her short life.

Loved ones say her legacy will live on through the countless people she inspired and through the service she proudly gave to her country.
