LINDSAY CLANCY JUROR’S ATTORNEY FIRES BACK — CALLS REDDINGTON’S MOTION A “FULL-FRONTAL ATTACK” ON THE U.S. CONSтιтUTION

The Lindsay Clancy holdout juror’s attorney on Tuesday hit back at a motion filed by the killer mom’s defense team, branding it a “full-frontal attack on the US Consтιтution.”

Edward Paltzik, who represents Michael Desronvil, spoke after Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, called for a judge to investigate the juror’s phone records and pretrial questionnaire answers.

Paltzik branded Monday’s move a “Looney Tunes motion” by “Kevin ‘Shooter McGavin’ Reddington” on his “courageous” client in a statement on X.

“If the new normal is that jurors are going to face brutal reprisals for disagreeing with a defense attorney, you can kiss the Sixth Amendment goodbye,” he said.

Reddington’s motion called on the judge who oversaw Clancy’s mistrial to investigate Desronvil over claims he may have inaccurately filled out jury forms or answered questions incorrectly during the selection process.

The motion also referenced claims Desronvil — the sole person to vote for convicting Clancy of murdering her three children — used his cellphone during deliberations.

But Paltzik warned that the motion was a slippery slope that would affect any number of future cases, saying “the tables will inevitably turn.”

“Imagine a similar trial sometime in the not too distant future where it is the reverse scenario: 11-1 in favor of guilty, with one holdout favoring not guilty by reason of insanity,” he wrote.

“I doubt you folks would be alright if the District Attorney then filed a motion to investigate that lone holdout standing in the way of a conviction.”

Desronvil, a 48-year-old father, has been at the center of much scrutiny, as well as attacks on his character, by Clancy’s supporters after he was identified as the sole holdout juror in the case.

Clancy’s trial ended on Sept. 4 in a mistrial after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict after seven days of deliberation.

Before the mistrial declaration, Reddington had tried to get Desronvil removed from the jury after the other jurors told Judge Sullivan he allegedly acknowledged doubting Clancy’s guilt but wouldn’t acquit her.
