🚨 Tyler Perry and Colin Kaepernick Step In to Help Nolan Wells’ Family as They Continue Seeking Answers

MISSISSIPPI — The family of 18-year-old Nolan Xavier Wells has received support from filmmaker and philanthropist Tyler Perry and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick as they continue seeking answers about the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death following a Fourth of July trip to Horn Island, Mississippi.

According to the family, Tyler Perry has offered to cover Nolan Xavier Wells’ funeral expenses, easing the financial burden during an incredibly difficult time.

The Wells family publicly thanked Perry for his generosity, describing his gesture as a source of comfort while they continue mourning their son.

At the same time, Colin Kaepernick has stepped forward by funding an independent autopsy.

The examination was requested after the family raised questions about the events leading up to Nolan’s disappearance and said they wanted an independent review in addition to the official investigation.

The Wells family is represented by civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who has called for a complete and transparent investigation.

Crump has said the family deserves clear answers and has urged investigators to carefully examine witness statements, digital evidence, and every available lead.

Authorities say the investigation remains active. Nolan Xavier Wells, a recent graduate of Ocean Springs High School and an incoming football player at Southwest Mississippi Community College, disappeared after a boating trip to Horn Island on July 4.

His body was later recovered, and officials have not yet released a final cause of death while additional forensic testing continues.
